I’m going to list and show different resources I’ve found to help you get a 1500 on the SAT. I’ve scoured the internet for my son to find all the best resources to ace the test. I wanted to provide my readers an all in one place to save time and money.

3. Khan Academy – The best Free Course. We recommend using this in combination with another course to maximize results
4. UWorld – A very good course that is recommended by many online. Good price

The Best Videos to get a 1500
These are mostly videos from students that took the SAT and have insights into what worked for them. I included these more for motivation then actual tactics.
The Best Sites to get a 1500 on the SAT
Quora – This site provides a Q and A format that provides good information from actual students that are then answered by either other students or teachers. Has information on almost anything that you can think of. Highly Recommended!
Reddit – There sub reddits on the SAT. We used this to get instant feedback on the actual tests that we took. Kids would put up questions on the real SAT they just took to see how other kids answered them.
College Confidential – Some threads on the SAT not as much as the other two but still worthwhile
The best way to get a 1500 on the SAT
The best way to get 1500+ on the SAT is to use all of these resources in combination. I would recommend getting some books, flashcards, taking a course, using Khan Academy and watching YouTube videos of kids who successfully received high scores. You need to take as many practice tests as possible, to become used to taking the test. You will see similar questions and know how to attack the more difficult ones to get the answers.
Why do you need a 1500 on the SAT
Why do you even need a 1500? If your aiming to get into one of the best schools, anything below a 1500 will not be a competitive score. To have the best chance to be selected in a top 30 school you must be at least in the 50 to 75 percentile of their admitted student profiles. There are always exceptions to the rule, athletes, URM and legacies. However, if you have no hook and you score less than 1500 you have a much lower shot. Get to studying and make your parents proud! 😉
