Yeah, this is the reality of it all. When you’re applying to any school they could truly care less about your volunteer work. It really is just something you could “mention”. Honestly if you do not have a 3.99999 GPA or a 36+, get the f*ck out of this stack of applicants.

3.9 and a 36+ is kind of extreme, but your post is true for the most.

@SHERmeleon that 3.9 GPA and 36 MCAT is not a fact… have you seen the average MCAT scores and GPAs for the accepted students? Probably not even half the class has this GPA combined with this MCAT score, you always see deviations from this number… like 3.6 and 33 MCAT or 3.7 and 32 MCAT….
