I was listening to American Beauty years ago sitting in front of the record player, I turned around and my four kittens were sitting there all in a row listening to the entire album. Fast froward 40 years or so and my current cat is listening to this ~ cast love the Grateful Dead I suppose ~~~~~~~~~~~~>

Let’s give Keith Godchaux some credit for the transition at 5:12 until Donna comes in

Comment actually from Pete, not Cathi: I have been searching on youtube thru various versions of this (one of my all time favorite Dead tunes) and I have to say the soaring melodies from Jerry on lead here are incomparable. Favorite version for certain. I hope he is teaching the angels a few licks.
