डॉ. भीमराव रामजी आंबेडकर (१४ एप्रिल १८९१ – ६ डिसेंबर १९५६) बाबासाहेब हे जागतिक दर्जाचे भारतीय अर्थशास्त्रज्ञ, कायदेपंडीत, राजनीतिज्ञ, लेखक, समाज सुधारक, तत्त्वज्ञ, भारतीय संविधानाचे शिल्पकार, मानवी हक्कांचे कैवारी, स्वातंत्र्य भारताचे प्रथम कायदा मंत्री व बौद्ध धर्म पुनरुत्थानक होते. याशिवाय डॉ. आंबेडकर हे समाजशास्त्रज्ञ, मानववंशशास्त्रज्ञ, इतिहासकार, शिक्षणतज्ज्ञ, धर्मशास्त्रज्ञ, प्राध्यापक, बॅरीस्टर, वक्ते, पत्रकार, जलतज्ज्ञ, संपादक, स्वातंत्र्य सेनानी, संसदपटू, स्त्रियांचे कैवारी, मजूरमंत्री आणि भारत देशातील कोट्यवधी शोषित पददलितांचे उद्धारक सुद्धा होते. देशाच्या सामाजिक, आर्थिक, राजनैतिक, कायदा, शैक्षणिक, संस्कृतिक, विद्युत, जल, कृषी, स्त्रीउद्धार, कामगार, शेतकरी, औद्योगिकीकरण, दलितोद्धार अशा अनेक क्षेत्रात अतुलनिय योगदानामुळे डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना आधुनिक भारताचे जनक आहेत . सर्वात महान भारतीय (The Greatest Indian) या भारताच्या आंतराराष्ट्रीय सर्वेक्षणात स्वातंत्र्यानंतर सर्वात महान भारतीय म्हणून डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर विजयी घोषित झालेले आहेत. कोलंबिया विद्यापीठाने जगातल्या शिर्ष १०० विद्वानांची यादी तयार तयार केली त्यात त्यांनी प्रथम स्थानी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे नाव ठेवून त्यांना जगातला नंबर १ महाविद्वान म्हणून त्यांचा गौरव केला. इंग्लंडच्या ऑक्सफोर्ड विद्यापीठाने गेल्या १० हजार वर्षांमधील जगातल्या सर्वांत प्रभावशाली १०० विश्वमानवांची यादी प्रकाशित केली, त्यात चौथ्या स्थानावर डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर तर प्रथम स्थानावर बुद्धांचे नाव होते. इंग्लंडच्या केंब्रिज विद्यापिठाने संशोधनातून सिद्ध केले असून या विद्यापिठाने त्यांना जगातील सर्वात बुद्धिमान व्यक्ती म्हणून घोषित केले आहे. भारतीय बौद्धांसाठी डॉ. आंबेडकर हे महान बोधिसत्व आहेत. जातिव्यवस्थेविरूद्ध प्रखर संघर्ष, महान भारतीय संविधान निर्माण अशा अनेक अतुलनीय देशसेवेसाठी दिलेल्या योगदानामुळे इ.स. १९९० साली भारत सरकारने त्यांना भारतरत्न या भारतातील सर्वोच्च नागरी पुरस्काराने गौरवले. विश्वरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर हे भारतातीलच नव्हे तर जगातील कोट्यवधी शोषित, पीडित, क्रांतीकारी व मानवतावादी लोकांचे प्रेरणास्थान झालेले आहेत. बाबासाहेबांचा जन्मदिवस भीम जयंती किंवा आंबेडकर जयंतीसुद्धा जगातल्या ६५ पेक्षा अधिक देशांत दरवर्षी साजरी केली जाते….🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
