Rajiv Malhotra delivers a insightful and trenchant analysis of western academic establishment. There is a huge need to institute knowledge centers in India, of the stature of Takshashila and Nalanda (not like JNU or TISS), to regain the Hindu civilizational momentum. Kudos to Rajiv-ji on yet another superb lecture, and also great Q&A!

I may be impressed by “Rajiv Malhotra” rational approach to cross-questions(much like adi shankara did), but certainly don’t agree with crowd cheers/bursts for the short responses. It patronises the aliens to Indian culture. Sure brief applause after complete argument conveys where the crowd stands.

Mr.Tyler Williams should have realised he would be destroyed to whatever he had to allege coz Mr.Malhotra is himself an encyclopedia in this topic… i mean this man started in 1994 and its been 22 years he’s been working and contributing in these topics even if he has no answers to a question he can still destroy you with examples as he has an very big journey… and you Mr.Williams just destroyed yourself…

Rajiv Ji was very articulate and awesome!! Also like to appreciate the great job done by the moderator. So many such meetings get derailed by hecklers and he was firm and kept it in control. Also like others have said, Rajiv Ji needs to be take care of his health. This is a stressful work especially with hecklers and professional leftist protestors.

If the victims in the 2002 godhra train burning were muslims and then the riots followed, how many of these people will be discussing the riots today? In that case, the train burning would be the topic of discussion just like the babri demolition is the discussion these days instead of the riots that followed. How many of these so-called liberals will discuss the riots that killed people after the babri demolition? They will call gujarat riots as the worst even though both hindus and muslims died. They will never even discuss the 1984 sikh massacre or the ethnic cleansing of the kashmiri pandits, both of which had a lot more people killed than the gujarat riots? When have these people picked up an issue that affected any Hindu or even sikhs with the same outrage that they show for the gujarat riots? Even there, they will only bat for the muslims and completely ignore the hindus killed or even the hindus burned alive in the train.
