despite many decades of standardized testing most academics will admit that criteria is tok weak rpto assess the overall ability of students.

you will agree with me that sat gmat lasat gre mcat do not measure attributes like honesty creativity emoyional intelligence and balance communincation skills.

the reason so many students s ore high is that prep courses are all over the world like mushrooms and good teacher coach students how to pace and questions whci are mostly multiple choice questions and not open ended questions which require more cretivity and ability.

well sats and other tests are not going away and  students have no choice than to be zombies to pass the tests satisfactorily.

that is why your contribution and explanation on how to get into top schools like stanford means those schools use the essay and even co cuuricular activities as the litmus test to find original students who express their intentions and academic overview holistically in the essay.

in effect all students applying to undergraduate and graduate s hools to america and other western countries should know.the essay is know the most important factor ization in standing out from so many of the applicatants in the entire globe.

Talk a about a brag paper. Honestly, I couldn’t, not once, picture what you were talking about. If this paper makes yours look bad, you need to redraw your essay up. This is a speech, not an admissions essay.

also, different majors may expect different things. I see how this essay may work if you were a cultural studies major of some sort.

Yeah. If I were a Stanford Admissions Officer, I to wouldn’t let this girl in. Her essay plays the victim card, which I wouldn’t apperciate as an admissions officer. With the college essays and supplemants, students should be painting a picture of their accomplishments thus far in life, not playing the victim card and hoping that they will recieve a ich of sympathy from the admission board. She got in so this comment is irrelvant, but for those applying today, the game is much diff. I cannot imaigne this chick getting accepted with these essays in today’s world. Just my thoughts. Bye.
