Thank you so much for this video, Danielle! I’m actually from the Central Florida area and I am planning to transfer after my first year of College to either NYU or Carnegie Mellon which both have amazing Musical Theatre programs. I’ve haven’t gone through any applications yet, but I’m planning to be applying and auditioning for six schools, four in Florida and two out of state.

You and I are both freshmen, but I watched because I wanted to see how your process went. I got in to most of the schools I applied to but I didn’t tour them like you did yours and I deeply regret that. I ended up somewhere where I’m so unhappy and I’m transferring to a different school next year that I had really contemplated attending but was too scared to go far away. I’m glad you went to your dream school, though!!

I didn’t get in to any of the schools I applied to this past year. I applied to a very difficult program so of course I wasn’t surprised but still devastated. I’m glad it worked out for you but I can totally relate. I learned a lot from it and I am taking a gap year! I believe that you always end up where you belong! thanks for sharing your experience

I was so happy to hear you applied to University of South Carolina (where I go) but idk you made me feel like you thought it was a bad school. I love you and your channel so I’m really bummed your experience/your opinion is negative! I am still so happy you found the school that makes you happiest (even though it’s one of our rivals) but ugh!!! Now I’m sad!

Thank you for making this video i randomly clicked on it cuz im going thru the process rn and im so scared and of course my parents are all like ull be fine theres a place for everybody but it’s only really meaningful hearing it from someone else whos gone thru the same process so recently so just thank you this is exactly what I needed rn
