I’m a TCU junior (psychology major), and I love it here! Did you wind up at TCU? If so, how was your first semester?

Funny that you mentioned your interest in the University of Minnesota and then talked about getting obsessed with TCU football… we played them the last two seasons and beat them both times 🙂

And I understand your opinion about Stanford and USC… the culture of competition continues even among those enrolled there!

I do agree: the students here are quite friendly!

What is the Christian atmosphere of the school like? I’ve heard some people say that it is a very liberal school and that they encourage people to find there own religion and even have some Islamic and Muslim clubs. Is that true? I respect others religions but I want to know if I’m paying for a Christian college that I’m getting a Christian education from the Bible and word of God standpoint. Also do you guys have chapel?

Hey Britta, How are the residence halls? Pretty strict? Lenient, lenient based on where/who you live with?

Riley Kuiper · March 23, 2016 at 2:45 am

I live in Texas and I would go to TCU but I want to do softball and they don’t have softball. I would probably choose TCU if they had softball.

Yay Britta!!

What were your stats on getting in TCU? I’m really interested in TCU and applying for colleges in the fall 🙂

Luke Bertrand · June 10, 2016 at 6:10 am

I’m super interested in TCU, however, I’m super worried that I won’t get an extensive amount of scholarships because TCU is not the cheapest. So my question is, did you receive enough scholarships to support you there without taking out huge loans? Also I really want to study abroad, but I heard you have to be top of your class to do that. Is that also true?

there’s not many girls i can listen to for 18 minutes but you were great!

I want to go to TCU, but it’s very expensive and adding the out of state tuition. How high should your gpa be to get a scholarship

Kaitlyn Roberts · December 19, 2016 at 2:43 pm

My gpa was a 3.4, class rank was 76 out of 224, sat was 1090 and I still got into TCU. I worked very hard, and although I did not meet their highest requirements test score wise, they viewed me as a person not a number. So for those of you who want to get into this school as bad as I do, do everything they give you the opportunity to do. Freedom of expression, personal interview, a well thought out essay, tell them about why they should take you for your character! You won’t be sorry!

I am going to be going to TCU this fall! And I was wondering what dorms you recommend staying in?

BigTex182 · February 14, 2017 at 4:05 am

I just made a list of 5 and applied at TCU and got accepted so I didn’t even bother applying to the other ones in Texas

Cameron Christie · April 19, 2017 at 5:07 am

kristin cabello · July 8, 2017 at 6:20 pm

hey! i’m considering TCU, but i have a few questions! i know it’s a christian school, is it required that you have to take any religious classes? and how involved is christianity throughout the campus? thanks !!
