Are you Canadian? I am, and I’m thinking of applying to some US schools- I was just wondering if you have any advice or resources I could use. I’m aiming for Brown, USC, and a few others and I set to take my first SATs this May but I was wondering if you have any advice on other things to do that might look impressive on the app. Also, were you able to get any financial aid/any scholarships you recommend? Thank you so much, I know I’ve listed a lot of questions but I would love some first hand advice.

I live in Brazil. Here in Brazil, we have a terrible educational system. My congratulations for the fact that Americans have a so good educational system.

Hi Angie
I am a high school junior and I really love your videos! Could you talk about your college search process? Did you just go to the websites?

I live in Rhode Island and I can tell she’s already a PC SJW and future sexual harrasment complainer.

What should your GPA be in high school in order to attend Brown University? (I’m sorry if you answered this in your other videos, I’m a new subscriber to your channel…) ☺

Should’ve chosen Cornell!

Ahhhh I got off the waitlist at both Brown and Penn! Don’t know what to do!

Wow this video was so relatable! Most of your impressions were pretty much the same for me if you replace Pomona with Amherst and Penn with Georgetown. I’ll be attending Brown next fall! 🙂

I don’t know if I caught it in this video … what is your major?

Loved the video. Thank you Angie. My son is going into HS this fall in california. He is a consistently engaged student with straight A’s in middle school but was studying regular math track not advanced in middle school. Does the math track impact applications to IV leagues! He has taken his passion for swimming to a new level in middle scool – swims on a senior team ( higher than varsity ) about 19 hrs a week! I really want to able to guide him to a great school cause i see a lot of potential and dedication in him! oh and smarts 🙂

Brown was at my top too. Every Ivy League.
Kisses from UC Berkeley 😀

Were these applications through QuestBridge? I ask because every school you stated were part of the QuestBridge Scholarship college partners 🙂

I love Brown so much, I hope I get in !! But Worcester Polytech stole my heart too, so I’m not worried about not getting any good options 🙂
mercy bonny · December 15, 2017 at 6:26 am
I was wondering if the course you indicated in your application had any impacts on the classes you could take once at Brown?

I remember watching this video really early in my college search process when I didn’t know much about individual colleges, and now after having done so much research, I can completely connect to basically everything that you’ve said. I applied to Brown University Early Decision (AND GOT IN!!!) but I was totally not expecting the acceptance, so I was prepared to apply to other colleges in the very likely case that I would not be accepted early. I was planning on applying to McGill and UToronto (even though they are incredibly huge) if I didn’t get into Brown and I knew for sure that I wasn’t going to apply to Cornell or UPenn because the campus atmospheres didn’t feel right to me. Brown just felt like such a perfect fit for me, and I’m so glad that I got accepted early! Hope to see you on campus next year! 🙂
